The whole ÖMKi team wishes you happy holidays

We say goodbye to a year which was, for all of us, unusual and full of challenges. One of the most important lessons we have learned, however, is that in these changed times, many people have shown greater interest in healthy, sustainable, locally produced food. A parallel development is the uninterrupted spread of organic farming in Hungary – the amount of land under organic cultivation has doubled in the last five years. The increased demand for organic products, and greater awareness among consumers, are encouraging more and more Hungarian farmers to switch to organic production methods.

With our team of nearly 20 people, we will continue our work in 2021, to contribute to the development of sustainable food production by involving as many locations and farmers as possible.
